about

‘The end is a beginning’ EP comprises 5 original tracks written by Chris Brock - WildBadger, with the 5th - “Chrysalis” being the one that inspired the journey and creation of all of the others. Track 5 is suggested to be experienced as 'sound art' rather than a song. (see below for full track credits)

All tracks have been composed as a response to real life challenges. I believe in the healing power of music, through words sung or spoken, the layering of patterns and rhythms, and in the aesthetics of sound and sonic range.

I combine the saxophone with natural, acoustic and electronic sounds, and tribal and jazz infused rhythms, that together create a dance or movement, a shifting within the listener, offering new scope and potential. This internal movement can enable new responses in the way we handle things that arise or may arise externally.
